Given that you've visited this site, the likelihood is that you know a little bit about me already. In case you don’t - I’m Christopher Spence, a freelance filmmaker based in York, although my work takes me all over the UK (and beyond)! My work is varied and can range from large scale corporate promotional films to local community based film making workshops in schools, community centres and even cinemas!
Born and raised in Leeds, I moved to Sunderland to study for my BA in Media Studies where I graduated in 1999 with a 2:1 Honours Degree. From there I moved to York and started my career as a filmmaker working as a freelance camera operator / editor for several local production companies. With over 11 years experience, insatiable ambition, my own broadcast standard HDV cameras & Apple Mac based editing suites, I'm keen to expand my list of satisfied clients.
